In Massachusetts, Licensed Mental Health Counselors are mandated to complete at least 30 Approved Continuing Education Hours (CE's) every two years. 15 of those can be done home study There are several detailed regulations in addition to this that Licensed Mental Health Counselors must adhere when practicing counseling.
